In this guide, we'll review how to launch a LinkedIn Campaign using Propensity.
Once you are in an ABM Campaign, navigate to the Playbook tab. If you haven’t configured your playbook yet, you will need to complete that first.
Once in your Playbook, view the contents of your LinkedIn Ad. If you have not created a LinkedIn Ad or LinkedIn Carousel Ad, you can do so by clicking “New Play +” and choosing the desired play type.
For a single LinkedIn Ad, upload your graphic(s) on the view page. For a carousel ad, you will upload your graphic(s) in the edit mode. You can use Canva or Figma templates if you need help creating your ads.
You may also add Alt Images if you would like to add multiple ad variations of the same size.
Once you are ready to edit the rest of the content, click the “edit” button in the top right corner.
LinkedIn Single-Ad requirements:
- A start and end date
- Click URL (directs users to a specific landing page or website when they click on the ad)
- Call to Action
- Headline (max 200 char)
- Introductory Text (max 600 char)
LinkedIn Carousel Ad Requirements:
- A minimum of two cards, maximum of 10 cards
- Individual image spec is 1200x1200 pixels.
- Rich media formats supported: JPG, PNG, GIF (non-animated only)
- Introductory text for the entire ad (max 255 char) -- This may truncate at 150 char on some mobile devices
- Headline per each card (max 255 char) -- a maximum of two lines before being truncated
- Click URL per each card
- 45 character limit for carousel ads that direct to a landing page
Once your ad is fully set up and saved, don’t forget to attach your desired Buying Circle to the play. This is the audience the ad will be shown to.
👀 Note: In order to launch a LinkedIn Ad, a minimum of 400 enriched contacts is required.
If the Playbook setup is complete, go to the Launch tab.
Once you are there, if you see an “Activate This Campaign” button or “Confirm Budget”, you will need to do this first. If not, skip this step. Only customers on the consumption model will have this step.
To activate the campaign or confirm the budget for the ad, click the Confirm button and follow the designated steps.
Once confirmed, you will be able to view the desired LinkedIn ad channel.
To launch, all of the necessary setups must be complete. To check the status of your ad, click the Launch-Ready status button.
If all of the steps have been completed, click View ad to be directed to the last step for launch.
Connect your LinkedIn Ad account and Campaign Group, set your budget and schedule, and review graphics one more time.
Once completed, either Save Settings to launch later or press Launch in the top right of the page.
If everything is successful, you have now launched a LinkedIn Ad campaign on Propensity. Congrats!
