What this is
Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns are a campaign type that allows you to target companies directly at the account level, rather than targeting individual contacts.
Instead of relying on contact-level data or buying circles, ABM campaigns use your account list to deliver ads to organizations you want to reach.
This approach is aligned with traditional ABM strategies, where the focus is on engaging specific companies rather than individual leads.
Only Propensity Display Network and LinkedIn channels are currently available for this campaign type.
When to use this
Use ABM campaigns when you want to:
Target specific companies directly
Run campaigns without relying on contact-level data
Focus on account-level engagement and awareness
Execute a traditional ABM strategy
How it works
ABM campaigns use your selected account list as the foundation for targeting.
Once an account list is selected, the platform identifies ways to deliver ads to those organizations across supported channels.
Unlike standard campaigns:
Targeting is based on accounts, not individual contacts
You do not need to configure buying circles
There is no contact-level visibility or targeting
Key differences from standard campaigns
ABM campaigns differ from standard campaigns in the following ways:
No buying circles required
No contact-level targeting
No Leads tab, since contacts are not individually tracked
Targeting is based entirely on your account list
How to create an ABM campaign
Go to Campaigns
Click New Campaign
Select Account-Based Marketing
Insert your campaign details
Go to Audience and choose your account audience
Configure your plays in the Playbook tab
Review setup requirements in Launch
Launch your campaign
The setup process is similar to other campaign types, with the exception that buying circles are not required.
Pricing considerations
ABM campaigns do not use contact-level targeting.
As a result:
Contact data charges do not apply
Costs are based on campaign configuration and budget
Analytics
Similar to other campaigns, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Campaigns typically take a few hours to go live after setup and approval. Performance data will appear in the Analytics tab.
Important notes
This campaign type is designed for account-level targeting only
Individual contact data is not available in this campaign type
Campaign performance should be evaluated at the account and campaign level, rather than per contact
