What this guide does
This guide walks you through creating an Audience Enrichment Only campaign in Propensity.
By following this guide, you will create a campaign that runs an audience enrichment process for accounts and contacts associated with a Buying Circle and allows you to download or sync the resulting audience to your CRM for external use, without activating any advertising channels.
When to use this guide
Use this guide when you want to prepare and export audience data built in Propensity for use outside the platform, such as analysis, segmentation, personalization, or activation in other systems.
This campaign type is designed for data enrichment and audience preparation only and does not launch ads or require ad channel integrations.
What you’ll need before starting
Before creating an Audience Enrichment Only campaign, make sure:
- You have Editor or Admin permissions (to create and manage campaigns in Propensity)
- There is an existing Account List or Contact List, or you can create a new list
- A buying circle does not already need to be created. Once you connect your list, you can create or add new buying circles
- For contact list uploads, a buying circle will automatically be created with the contacts on your list
Step-by-step instructions
- Go to Campaigns and click New Campaign
- Select Audience Enrichment Only
- Enter your campaign details and save
- Go to Audience and confirm the audience associated with the campaign
- Go to Playbook and connect the Buying Circles you want to include in the exported audience
- Go to Launch and confirm the Campaign Cost before starting the enrichment
- Wait for the enrichment process to complete
- Download the enriched audience
- If you would like to sync the data to your CRM, click CRM Sync settings and select the CRM you want to sync to (Hubspot or Salesforce)
- Note: All Warmth must be selected in order for leads to successfully sync
How to know it worked
- The campaign status changes to Enriched
- The enriched audience becomes available for download
Once you download the data, the Last Download Date is updated
