What it is
The Reporting section allows you to connect externally launched advertising campaigns (LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, Reddit) back to Propensity.
The most common use case is when a campaign is created directly in an external ad platform, but you want to associate it with an ABM Campaign and Play inside Propensity for centralized visibility and reporting.
For example: If you launch a campaign in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and want it reflected inside Propensity, you can use Reporting to connect that external campaign to an ABM Campaign and Play.
Within Reporting, you can:
View campaigns from connected advertising accounts
See current campaign status as reported by the external platform
Review which ABM Campaign and Play each campaign is associated with
Connect externally launched campaigns to an ABM Campaign and Play
Reporting does not replace your external ad platform (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, etc.). Instead, it provides centralized visibility and alignment between externally managed campaigns and your ABM structure in Propensity.
Important Requirement: Dummy Play
To connect an externally launched campaign back to Propensity, a corresponding Play must already exist inside the target ABM Campaign.
This Play can be created as a placeholder (commonly referred to as a “dummy” Play).
Key details:
The dummy Play can be blank
It must match the channel of the external campaign (e.g., LinkedIn Play for a LinkedIn campaign)
Only Plays that already exist in the ABM Campaign will appear as selectable options when connecting
Once the external campaign is connected:
The assets and configuration from the external platform will replace the placeholder Play inside Propensity.
Without creating this dummy Play first, the external campaign will not appear as an option for connection
When to use
Use the Reporting section when you want to:
Verify which external campaigns are connected to Propensity
Confirm campaign status (e.g., Active, Paused, Enabled)
Associate an external campaign with an ABM campaign and Play
Ensure campaigns are properly linked for tracking, reporting, and to view available performance metrics from external campaigns within Propensity (LinkedIn and Reddit)
Reporting is particularly useful when managing multiple advertising accounts or validating connections.
How to access Reporting
You can find the external campaign reporting tabs by going to the Reporting tab and selecting the desired channel from the left-hand menu. Each channel section provides account-level selection followed by a campaign-level view.

This may cause differences when comparing data directly with LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
