What it is
Account Integration is a setting within the CRM Sync Settings tab that enables automatic syncing of third-party intent signals to your connected CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot)
When activated, Propensity will:
Track intent activity for accounts in your defined audience
Sync those intent signals to matching account records in your CRM
This integration applies only to account-level intent data. It does not sync website activity, enrichment data, or campaign configuration.
Account Integration can be turned on or off at any time from the CRM Sync Settings area
When to use
Use Account Integration when:
You want third-party intent signals to appear directly inside Salesforce or HubSpot
Your sales team relies on CRM-based reporting or workflows
You want intent data to sync automatically without manual intervention
This feature is intended for teams that want intent insights to be visible within their existing CRM processes.
Requirements
Before enabling Account Integration:
A CRM connection (Salesforce or HubSpot) must be configured
A Primary Audience must be defined
Intent topics must be selected within the Primary Audience
Accounts must already exist in your CRM to receive synced data
Without these conditions, intent data will not sync.
How it works
Account Integration depends on your Primary Audience configuration
Intent signals are tracked and synced based on:
The accounts included in your Primary Audience
The intent topics selected within that audience
If no intent topics are selected, no intent data will be tracked or synced, even if Account Integration is enabled
Once activated:
Intent signals are continuously tracked for qualifying accounts
When a qualifying account already exists in your CRM, the associated intent data is synced to that account record
This process runs automatically after activation.
How to enable it
Click your profile and go to CRM Sync settings
Select Account Integration (Salesforce) or Account Integration (Hubspot)
Click Activate Integration
Submit
Note: This integration could potentially update all accounts in your CRM. The only fields that will be updated are Propensity fields, but workflows that depend on the modification of records could be triggered using this integration
Important considerations
Account Integration does not create new accounts in your CRM
Only existing account records can be updated with intent signals
Intent tracking is controlled by the topics and accounts defined in your Primary Audience
If no intent topics are configured, no data will be synced, even if the integration is activated
Syncing occurs automatically after activation and does not require manual triggering
