What this is
The Propensity Chrome Extension allows you to capture engagement data from LinkedIn posts and ads and send that information directly to Propensity.
When used, the extension identifies LinkedIn users who interacted with a specific post or ad and processes their profile URLs so that engagement data can be stored in Propensity. If your Salesforce or HubSpot integration is active, this data can also sync to your CRM.
What this extension does
When activated on a supported LinkedIn page, the extension:
Detects valid LinkedIn post or ad URLs
Identifies users who engaged with the content
Processes LinkedIn profile URLs
Sends engagement data to Propensity
Syncs engagement data to Salesforce or HubSpot (if connected)
Engagement data is stored in Propensity and may appear in CRM under the Propensity Marketing Data object if integrations are enabled.

How to use the Chrome Extension
Open a LinkedIn post or ad
Open the extension and click Click here to save this post’s engagement in Propensity
Review the information and click Submit
Wait for processing to complete
(Note: The page may reload and additional LinkedIn profile tabs may open automatically. This is expected behavior while the extension retrieves engagement data)A confirmation message will appear once processing is finished. The engagement data is then stored in Propensity
Where the data goes
In Propensity
Engagement data is stored in the platform and can be used for reporting, segmentation, or other workflows.
In Salesforce or HubSpot (if connected)
If your workspace has an active CRM integration:
Engagement records sync automatically
Data is associated with the Propensity Marketing Data object
Records may include:
LinkedIn post URL
Engagement type (e.g., LinkedIn Post Engagement)
Associated account
Associated contact
These records can be used for reporting, sales prioritization, and campaign analysis inside your CRM.
Important notes
The extension must be used on supported LinkedIn post or ad URLs.
During processing, multiple browser windows may open automatically. This is expected behavior.
CRM sync only occurs if Salesforce or HubSpot integration is active.
Engagement data appears only after processing is completed successfully.
