Adding keywords to both your account list and buying circle narrows the scope of your audience and helps ensure that you are targeting the right contacts as you run campaigns.
Account List Keywords
Keywords
Focus your audience by adding keywords. This will filter your results to include accounts with those keywords in their company name or description. For example, if you add “Consulting” as a keyword, only accounts that include “Consulting” in their company name will show. You can find Keywords under Advanced Filters.
Keyword Exclusions
Remove accounts from your list using keyword exclusions. If the excluded keywords are found in an account’s name or description, those accounts will not be included. For example, if you add “Cybersecurity” as a keyword exclusion, accounts that include “Cybersecurity” in their company name will not show. You can find Keyword Exclusions under Advanced Filters.
Additional Industries
Add industries you are targeting under Additional Industries if you are unable to find them under the “Industries You Want to Target” selection. This can be particularly useful when used with the ABM Connected Website, or if the visiting company does not have a matching industry in our database. You can find Additional Industries under Advanced Filters.
Buying Circle Keywords
Job Titles & Job Title Exclusions
Add job titles you are targeting under Job Titles, and jobs you are looking to exclude under Job Title Exclusions. We recommend adding up to three keywords total, or there may be loading issues. You can find Job Titles and Job Title Exclusions under Persona Attributes.
Location Keywords
Add locations here that are not listed under the other location filters (Location Metros, Location State, Location Country). This ensures that you are able to target all desired geographic areas. You can find Location Keywords under Advanced Attributes.
Skills & Interests
Add skills and interests you are targeting under Skills and Interests. Note that as long as the contact has one of the targeted skills and/or interests, they will show up in your audience. You can find both under Advanced Attributes.
